    The name, Vik, refers to a village in Iceland famous for its proximity to an active volcano and its black beaches. Highly durable, the linen and cotton fabric Vik features a natural ground onto which a special resin is applied. The resin coating process creates a surface which highlights the natural appearance of linen with its irregularities, slubs and light dots. One might think of it as a natural alternative to leather. The resin processing generates no waste, aligning with sustainable development aimed at minimising environmental impact. Suitable for upholstery.
